My Story
I got started in the construction industry in the late 80's, working for my father. He was a great teacher! I worked for my dad until his passing in 2003, I became a Florida State Certified Building contractor in 2004. I built custom homes along the Florida Gulf Coast and completed many home renovations and additions.

Why I Do It
Ā Watching the housing market these last few years really caused me to begin to think about a less expensive housing solution that would make home ownership obtainable for most people. Not just the higher income bracket. That is why I created DIY Homestead LLC. We all need a place to call home, and my system will provide just that for a fraction of the cost.
My goal is to build five of these small homes on our property to both train people how to build and to provide housing for my children and grandchildren.
